As a key member of our kitchen team, we are seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Assistant to join us. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Support chefs with food preparation duties, ensuring dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented in an attractive manner.
* Ensure all workstations are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and organization, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Load and unload the dishwasher efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
* Assist front of house staff with glassware cleaning as required, providing additional support during busy periods.
* Perform additional cleaning and preparation duties as directed by the Head Chef, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing demands.
Qualification and Requirements
* No prior experience is necessary, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
* Must be available to work on a rotating roster between Tuesday-Sunday, with flexibility to adapt to changing shifts and schedules.
* A current police check is required for applicants over 18 years old, and a Safe Food Handling Course can be completed prior to commencement of work.
