As the Director Project Delivery, you will lead strategic coordination and provide expert advice across infrastructure, planning, and service delivery programs that support the development of the Beetaloo Sub-basin. You’ll work across government to align key initiatives, ensure integrated delivery of critical development projects and be engaging with senior stakeholders, managing interdependencies across agencies, and driving collaborative approaches to achieve whole-of-government outcomes.
The Beetaloo Sub-Basin
The Beetaloo Sub-basin is one of Australia’s most significant onshore gas opportunities, located approximately 500km southeast of Darwin. With world-class reserves capable of meeting Australia’s energy needs for the next 200 years, it plays a critical role in supporting local, national, and international demand for affordable, reliable, and cleaner energy. The Beetaloo Project Management Office has been established to lead strategic coordination and planning, ensuring the Territory maximises the economic and energy opportunities this development presents—while supporting Australia’s energy transition and regional growth.
About you
To be successful you’ll have:
- Ability to coordinate and advise on a range of infrastructure, planning and logistics programs delivered across NT Government with a focus on strategic development of the Beetaloo Sub-basin.
- Proven skills and experience coordinating major project delivery across multiple agencies and industry, with experience relevant to onshore gas.
- High level stakeholder management skills with the ability effectively and proactively collaborate with senior leaders across government and industry.
- High level strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and negotiate to influence outcomes.
