About the Role
We're looking for an Event Manager with at least 3 years of end-to-end event experience, ideally within a PCO. You'll manage your own portfolio of events while working closely with a collaborative team who always has your back.
The role suits someone who enjoys variety, is naturally organised and feels comfortable guiding clients and suppliers with confidence and warmth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of conferences, exhibitions and gala dinners
* Build strong client relationships through clear, friendly communication
* Manage budgets, timelines and event plans
* Coordinate suppliers, venues and contractors
* Oversee registration management and deliver a seamless delegate experience
* Prepare agendas, minutes and action lists for client meetings
* Collaborate with the team on event communications and eDMs
* Lead onsite delivery across Australia (with occasional international travel)
* Support and mentor Coordinators and junior team members
* Assist with post-event reporting, wrap-ups and reconciliation
* Bring a calm, solutions-focused attitude to each project
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience as an Event Manager, ideally within a PCO, in-house or Association
* Comfortable managing multiple events with planning and support
* A clear communicator with strong client-facing skills
* Detail-oriented, organised and proactive
* Calm under pressure and positive in your approach
* Collaborative, kind and professional
* Experience with EventsAir is a strong advantage
* Able to travel and work onsite as required
