**The opportunity**
The Customer Coach role is responsible for the delivery of The COACH Program which delivers telephone-based coaching to Bupa customers with risk factors underlying common chronic conditions such as coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, diabetes, and other specified illnesses. The aim is to help customers self -manage their health by achieving and maintaining the target levels for their risk factors.
Coaches are encouraged to use their clinical judgement to tailor their coaching style to suit the individual they are supporting within the framework of The COACH Program and adhering to best practice guidelines. Customer coaches are responsible for managing their own scheduling of customer appointments enabling flexibility within the role (there is a requirement to be available at least once a fortnight up till 7pm)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Recruitment - Achieve recruitment of required number of customers each month for coaching in The COACH Program, culminating in the achievement of the annual recruitment target.
- Coach and assist customers in accordance with their preferred schedule and time, with the aim to reduce the National Heart Foundation risk factors to within target range upon graduation from the program;
- Achieve the required level of customer satisfaction, measured by customer feedback survey on graduation of patient;
- Maintain the required customer details in The COACH Program software in accordance with Bupa policies and guidelines;
- Contribute to Employee Wellbeing Program, Bupa Wellness Services, Medical Services, Health Relations and wider Bupa Australia business through sharing of knowledge and expertise and support of business initiatives;

**What do I need?**
- Clinical qualifications in Dietetics
- Membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (or willing to obtain for this role)
- Possess understanding of chronic disease clinical management practice.
- Passion for health & wellbeing and/or health insurance
- Previous experience in consulting with patients is desirable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and good organisational skills
