Our client, Berry Howe Industries Pty Ltd, designs and manufactures high-quality truck bodies, specialist machinery and precision machined parts for their customers.The Truck Mechanic is responsible for serving and repairing as per repair order instructions within the service department and for promoting customer satisfaction to the required dealer standards.
They will also oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to them.ResponsibilitiesPerform work as per repair order instructionsAdvise of any additional work required to the workshopDocument all work performed including cause and correction; recommend any work not carried out during service and repairEnsure the customer vehicle is left as found (including cleanliness, movement of the seat, radio, Bluetooth and mirror adjustments)Supervise any apprentice that you are assignedOperate all tools and equipment safely as mandated through safety training; report any safety issues or equipment defects to management immediatelyCoordinate with parts department to obtain needed partsAttend dealership and service department meetings and online training when requestedKeep the workshop area neat and clean and account for all dealership-owned tools at all timesRequirements / QualificationsTrade CertificateDriver's Licenses equivalent to the role (car, light duty, truck and agriculture)Technical knowledge as per qualification specificationsCustomer service focused: committed to providing exceptional service across channelsClear and concise communication; adapt style to the audienceAttention to detailAbility to work under pressure; organizational and time-management skillsAdditional InformationLocation: NSWEmployment type: Full-timeSalary: $70,000-$85,000 per annumIf you are interested in joining a successful business for this full time position, please send your resume today.
