About the role
As a Pharmacy Technician within SA Pharmacy, you'll be an integral part of a professional and dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical services across South Australia. In this advanced-level position, you will support the provision of clinical, dispensing, and inventory services, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of medication to patients. Working under general direction, you'll play a key role in supporting pharmacists and pharmacy assistants while maintaining high standards of accuracy, care, and compliance.
Your scope will include everything from medication distribution, clinical support, and quality control, to supervising and training staff and assisting with purchasing and inventory functions. Whether you're working in hospital wards, dispensary or clinical areas, this is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of SA Pharmacy in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
About You
You will be a qualified and capable Pharmacy Technician with demonstrated experience in hospital settings and advanced competence across multiple pharmacy practice areas.
* Certificate IV (or higher) in Pharmacy or relevant health service qualification
* Hospital or Community Pharmacy experience with leadership, training, and supervision capability
* Compliance with mandatory checks: Working With Children Check (WWCC), National Police Clearance (NPC), and subject to vaccination requirements
* Strong technical skills in pharmacy systems, stock control, dispensing and communication across diverse teams
