Project Manager – Civil Subdivisions (Contract)
Perth, WA – Projects NOR & SOR
Monday to Friday | Approx. 10 hours per day
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver civil subdivision projects across the Perth metropolitan area on a contract basis. Projects will be located both North and South of the River and will involve managing civil construction works from bulk earthworks through to project completion.
This role requires a motivated and hands‐on Project Manager who can coordinate subcontractors, manage stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver civil subdivision projects from commencement through to completion
* Oversee bulk earthworks, road construction, retaining wall construction, and service installation
* Coordinate installation of underground services including drainage, water, sewer, power, gas, and communications
* Liaise with service authorities including Water Corporation, Western Power, ATCO Gas, and NBN
* Liaise with local shires and councils regarding inspections, approvals, and compliance requirements
* Manage subcontractors delivering finishing trades including kerbing, footpaths, paving, spray seal, and asphalt works
* Monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction progress
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards
* Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
* Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
About You
* Proven experience managing civil subdivision projects in Western Australia
* Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, civil construction, and subdivision infrastructure
* Experience dealing with local government authorities, service providers, clients, and consultants
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and site activities
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and safely
