Applications are invited from Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated and friendly team in Yandilla. These permanent full or part time positions are available for an immediate start and include working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster (AM, PM & ND). This position involves providing person centred nursing care to a diverse range of patients in line with the guidelines, policies and objectives of the Clinical Services division of Grampians Health - Horsham & Dimboola Campuses.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
1. Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
2. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience
3. Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management
4. Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, residents, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation
6. Well-developed interpersonal skills
7. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development
8. Demonstrated ability to use Information Communications Technology
9. Current knowledge and understanding of acute patient centred care
Desirable:
10. Demonstrated knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities
11. Minimum of 2 years post-basic experience within an acute nursing care environment
12. Previous experience in acute medical / surgical care
