Operating globally, with regional offices in WA and QLD they are looking for a leader within their field. A multifaceted position, the position is responsible for maintaining the production performance of the manufacturing facility, commissioning of new equipment, infrastructure, repairs, and modifications to heavy industrial equipment plus the fabrication and supply of components used throughout Australia. With a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, you will analyse and identify opportunities and make incremental changes to continually improve company products, services, and processes within the manufacturing and production departments. We'd love to hear about 'breakthrough' improvements that you have made in previous positions. Duties will include: Establish a culture of manufacturing excellence across the division. Leadership in all areas of the manufacturing and production departments in engineering and maintenance practices. Strong emphasis on safety ZERO, quality, sustainability, labour costs, and efficiency improvements, this position will see you engage the team at all levels – staff leadership. Ensure that systems and productivity standards are achieved, focussing on continuously improving processes as well as implementing longer-term strategic growth plans. Support all systems requirements in relation to ISO quality and environmental standards. Achieve continuous improvement of customer service function, improvement of quotation systems, and recommendations for procedures. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to discuss machinery development and continuous improvement strategies. Provide engineering and policy advice for associated departments. You: Engineering Degree or time served with 10 years of similar experience. You will be an enthusiastic and dynamic professional with a proven background in manufacturing excellence/continuous improvement. 5 years of experience in maintenance and operational planning. Proven leadership and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge and experience liaising with suppliers, and external stakeholders. Good knowledge of P&L, budgets, and large projects. Salary: Remuneration between $140,000 to $160,000 base depending on experience, plus package.
