The Company
Our client is an international plumbing company that has been operating for over 25 years.
They have recently won several maintenance contracts so due to an increased workload, they are looking at hiring a scheduler based in Perth.
To be successful in this role you will be required to have experience in the following areas:
- Plan and schedule maintenance tasks based on priority, availability of resources, and urgency of the plumbing maintenance issue.
- Assign work orders to maintenance staff and coordinate their activities
- Communicate with customers to schedule appointments and inform them of any delays or changes to the maintenance schedule
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and update maintenance management software
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and guidelines
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes as necessary
Key requirements for the role:
- Solid organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in maintenance management software
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance requirements would be advantageous
- Understanding of relevant safety regulations and guidelines
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
