Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our dedicated team. This role involves managing and delivering Partner in the Community Local Area Coordination services within a defined geographical area.
This includes assessing each person's eligibility for the NDIS and (where eligible) helping to establish a NDIS plan with reasonable and necessary supports. Your role will engage with the local community to assist people with disability to access mainstream services regardless of NDIS eligibility.
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience in working alongside community towards common goals, highly developed communication skills and confidence using computer programs and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in fields such as Disability, Allied Health, Human Services, Social Sciences, Education, Community Services.
* Lived experience with disability or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families, carers and the community.
* Highly developed communication, listening and relationship building skills.
* Experience in working alongside community towards common goals.
* Confidence using a variety of computer programs and equipment.
