Behaviour Support Practitioner Role
We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team, providing high-quality services to clients of all ages and abilities within the NDIS sector.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be working in an environment that fosters clinical skills development through a robust support structure. You will provide community, clinic, and telehealth-based services to NDIS participants, supported by a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
You will have the flexibility to work from our office located on the Gold Coast or within the community, in-home, and clinic settings.
About this role
* Provide relationship-building services with participants and key stakeholders.
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs).
* Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that include function-based strategies.
* Offer training and education to stakeholders.
* Review and reduce restrictive practices in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.
* Regularly collect and monitor data progress.
About you
* Must have experience working with the NDIS and being endorsed against the PBS Capability Framework.
* Minimum 1 year's experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, including conducting FBAs, writing Behaviour Support Plans, and working with Restrictive Practices.
* A relevant Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
* A learning mindset and commitment to continuous development.
* Experience supervising or coaching others or willingness to develop clinical leadership skills.
* NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply). Current Australian driver's license and ability to travel with your own vehicle.
