We are now seeking a full time Skills Coach to work alongside our participants and team to facilitate our 2026 skill development programs
This is a fast paced and diverse role for someone who wants ownership, responsibility, and the opportunity to help shape our service.
About the Role
You will help run the day-to-day operation, support clients, oversee quality of supports, and work closely with participants to understand what actually helps them progress toward their goals.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Support & Practice Quality
* Provide high-quality, hands-on supports to participants
* Build strong, consistent relationships with participants and families
* Understand participant goals
* Collaborate with allied health professionals (OTs, psychs, BSPs, etc.)
* Support skill development across daily living, employment, community access, wellbeing, and engagement
Operations & Facilitation
* Follow shift instruction and support plans
* Complete required documentation (shift notes, incident reports, records)
* Support compliance processes (NDIS practice standards, incident reporting, safeguarding)

An interest in animals, outdoor work, and alternative therapeutic environments is highly regarded.
Essential Criteria
* Significant experience in disability support (NDIS context)
* Strong understanding of:
* Support notes and documentation
* Incident reporting and procedures
* Risk management and safeguarding
* Experience collaborating with allied health
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and current NSW Working with Children's Check
* First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
* Understanding of behaviour support and complex needs
* Interest in service development and growth
