About the Role
The Registered Nurse Opioid Treatment Program coordinates and delivers high-quality, person-centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
Nursing care is provided utilising the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery for people with Alcohol or Other Drug (AOD) issues. The Opioid Treatment Program service delivery requires working at a primary site as well as satellite sites within the network.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in alignment with professional standards and local policies.
* Provide nursing care using Trauma Informed Care and Recovery principles for people with AOD issues.
* Work at a primary site and satellite sites within the network.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Experience or interest in Opioid Treatment Programs or AOD services is desirable.
