Role Description
This is a remote and contracting role for an Occupational Therapist. You can choose your preferred method of service delivering. You will assess and deliver individualized treatments to support clients in achieving daily living and therapeutic goals. Responsibilities include functional assessment, NDIS report-writing, providing therapy for a diverse client base including pediatric and adult populations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves regular communication with clients, their families, support coordinators, and care teams to ensure a holistic approach to health and well-being.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Must has a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
* You should hold your own Professional indemnity insurance
* Be able to work with pediatric clients and tailoring treatments for children
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and documentation
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Understanding of NDIS and prior experience in disability services is a plus
