Job Title: Senior Medical Officer
The Capricornia Offender Health Service (COHS) is seeking a Senior Medical Officer to provide effective, efficient, and equitable medical services to prisoner clients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other medical officers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide medical services to prisoners, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health conditions.
* Work collaboratively with other medical officers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for prisoners.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures related to prisoner healthcare.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the relevant regulatory agency.
2. Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the relevant regulatory agency.
3. Registration or eligibility for registration in General Practice is highly desirable.
4. Advanced Life Support competency current or attained on employment.
