This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, developing and implementing financial strategies, and providing strategic guidance to senior management.

Main Responsibilities:

* Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including budgets and financial statements, assist with budget preparation and monitoring, conduct financial analysis and forecasting, ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements, support internal and external audits
* Team Management: Oversee day-to-day activities of the finance team, mentor and guide team members to ensure they meet deadlines, performance targets, and development goals, ensure all tasks are undertaken by the finance team in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner, undertake regular supervision in accordance with best practices
* Strategic Planning: Assist in developing financial strategies to achieve organizational objectives, analyze financial trends and projections to inform business decisions, support business growth initiatives, assist senior management with project management, cost optimization, and implementation of business change plans, identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems, ensure the team is proficient in using financial software and tools

Key Qualifications:

* CPA or CA accreditation
* Generalist experience in a finance role encompassing budgeting, analysis, and reporting
* Ability to liaise with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with external contacts, management, and staff
* Ability to guide and support organizational change and development
* Highly developed computer skills
* Experience with Financial Packages essential
* Ability to provide advice to leaders on financial key performance indicators
* Proven ability to use autonomy and initiative, performing consistently well under pressure, and manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a professional and ethical manner
* Demonstrated commitment to supporting organizational objectives
