About Us
Catherine McAuley College opened its doors in 2022, in order to meet the growing demand for a quality, Catholic Education in the Mackay region. Starting with pioneering Year 7's in 2022, they will grow into a complete Years 7 to 12 profile by 2027. Built on the former site of the historic Mackay Sugar Research Institute, our brand new college offers first class facilities to cater for staff and students to ensure the delivery of quality teaching and learning practices.
Your Role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons for the role of
Careers and School-based Apprenticeship and Training (SAT) Coordinator
. This is a term-time continuing position, commencing from 19 January 2026.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure and work collaboratively with others to meet timelines
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities, whilst maintaining a positive solution-focused outlook
High level of initiative and process thinking to ensure continuous improvement of processes
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to produce a range of documents

Mandatory Requirements
A current valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice is a requirement of the position.
