About the RoleAs our General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our business, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
You'll work closely with our design and manufacturing teams to interpret builder's drawings, estimate projects, and assist the Managing Director with finalising tenders.A minimum of 6+ years of operations management experience is essential for this role.
Key ResponsibilitiesManaging end to end project and project deliveryCo-ordinate between design, estimating and factory operationsInterpret and work from builder's and construction drawingsConstruction or formwork industry experience is essential for this positionUse AutoCAD to review and adjust shop drawings as neededAdvanced AutoCAD design proficiency is required for this roleEstimate material quantities and production timelinesSupervise factory staff and coordinate daily production activitiesA minimum of 5+ years of team leadership experience is requiredEnsure quality control and compliance with OH&S proceduresLiaise with site supervisors, engineers, and project managersAustralian work rights are essential for this position Skills & ExperienceProven ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawingsStrong and practical knowledge of formwork installationProficient in AutoCAD and 3d modellingSolid estimating skills – experience in formwork or concrete constructionExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesProven experience in a factory or manufacturing supervisory role
