Senior Finance Officer Needed with Jobpac System Experience

A successful and growing construction client who has worked on major projects, including the Shrine of Remembrance, is seeking a Senior Finance Officer. This role is available due to an internal restructure.
Your new role
As the Senior Finance Officer, you will be the heart of the accounting function, working closely with the HR manager to help with payroll preparation.
In your new position you will be completing varied accounts tasks. You will oversee a transactional team as a team lead/senior.
The role will involve:
* Invoicing and subcontractor payments
* Reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements and petty cash
* Preparing the payroll for the payroll officer - including timesheets
* BAS and other financial report preparations
* End of month reporting
* Ensuring financial compliance
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience with the system Jobpac would be highly desirable
* Accpac may also be sufficient
* If you have worked in construction you will be able to hit the ground running
* Excellent understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles in order to prepare the finance reports
* Highly adaptable and able to work with efficiency and high accuracy
* Understanding of financial compliance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
