Assistant Branch Manager
We are a commercial vehicle hire company with our head office in Melbourne and branches in Sydney and Brisbane. We are offering an excellent opportunity for a person to assist us in managing our branch in Sydney, based in Prestons.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager.
This position allows the freedom to work when required without being stuck in an office all day and offers plenty of variety. You will learn skills across the business spectrum.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and cleaning of the vehicles
2. Assistance with the servicing of vehicles and refrigeration units
3. Maintenance of vehicles
4. Vehicle inspections
5. Maintaining and updating computer records
6. Meeting customers to hand over rentals and receive returns
7. Documentation
8. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Requirements:
1. Be mechanically minded and able to use tools
2. Be willing and eager to learn our systems
3. Have a positive and friendly outlook
4. Have pride in your work and pay attention to detail
5. Be responsible and reliable
6. Have a driver's license and own transport
7. Fit and healthy seniors are encouraged to apply
