About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Career Coach to join our team, working with individuals to explore their career aspirations and develop tailored employment plans. You will collaborate with clients to identify their strengths and areas of interest, providing guidance and support to achieve meaningful employment outcomes.
As a Career Coach, you will engage with employers to understand their business needs and provide staffing solutions that meet their requirements. This includes delivering training and promoting inclusive hiring practices to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
You will also work closely with colleagues to ensure effective case management and coordination, leveraging your communication and problem-solving skills to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement personalized employment plans for clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
* Build strong relationships with employers to promote inclusive hiring practices and source job opportunities.
* Deliver training and workshops on disability awareness and inclusion, enhancing employer understanding and capacity to hire candidates with disabilities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate case management, ensuring seamless client support and effective service delivery.
About You
We seek an experienced Career Coach who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and employers alike. You will be proactive, outcome-focused, and highly organized, with a passion for making a positive impact in people's lives.
Your experience in employment services or human resources is desirable, and you will possess a strong understanding of employment barriers faced by individuals with disabilities. As a skilled coach, you will be able to provide empathetic support and guidance to clients, empowering them to achieve their career aspirations.
Essential Criteria
* Degree in Employment or Human Services (desired)
* Proven track record of meeting KPIs and managing workload effectively
* Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by individuals with disabilities
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
