The Participant Support Officer will be the first point of contact for participants within the office and provide high‐quality professional, friendly and respectful management of telephone enquiries, reception duties and appointment processes.
Responsibilities
* Managing and resolving participant matters by actioning planning tasks
* Providing face‐to‐face customer service to participants, families and carers
* Assisting with research and reports as directed
* Providing thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders
* Working under limited direction to provide administrative support to the team
* Managing email and appointments
* Coordinating appointments, ensuring venues are neat and prepared for each participant
* Undertaking a range of data entry responsibilities
* Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the Agency database
Qualifications
* Proven experience within a Government Department, ideally in a similar role
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Administrative and customer‐service background
* Understanding of working with individuals with a disability
Requirements & Compensation
All applicants must hold Australian citizenship and be willing to undertake a National Police Security Check.
Position is full‐time business hours, based in the Chermside office, offering $37.36 per hour + super.
