Optio6 Talent Partners has partnered with a well-established and highly regarded accounting and business advisory firm to appoint an experienced Manager into their growing Business Advisory & Tax team on the Gold Coast. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded professional who enjoys leading teams, building client relationships, and helping businesses navigate complex challenges while driving sustainable growth.
Working with a diverse client base across a broad range of industries, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory and taxation services while mentoring and developing the next generation of professionals.
The Opportunity
As a Manager within the Business Advisory & Tax team, you will be responsible for:
* Managing and developing a diverse portfolio of client relationships
* Providing strategic taxation and business advisory services
* Reviewing and overseeing the delivery of compliance and advisory engagements
* Leading workflow planning and ensuring timely completion of client work
* Mentoring, coaching and developing team members
* Driving a collaborative, high-performance team culture
* Contributing to business development initiatives and strategic growth opportunities
* Identifying opportunities to add value and deliver practical commercial solutions for clients
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* CA qualification
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
* 4-5+ years' experience within public practice accounting
* Previous experience managing client relationships and leading teams
* Strong technical taxation and business advisory knowledge
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
* A genuine passion for mentoring and developing others
Experience with Xero Practice Manager and FYI Docs will be highly regarded but is not essential.
