The Opportunity:
We seek a skilled General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team, focusing on delivering patient-centered care and contributing to positive community health outcomes. This role is based in Tamworth, covering outreach sites in Gunnedah and Nundle.
You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive, culturally appropriate primary healthcare to patients with diverse backgrounds and medical needs.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, adhering to organisational policies and procedures.
About you:
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential for this role.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, building rapport with patients, staff, and the broader community.
Able to work as part of a cohesive team, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises mutual support and open communication.
Previous experience working in Aboriginal health, rural, or remote healthcare is advantageous but not mandatory.
