About the role
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Processing Supervisor – CHPP to lead operations at our Coal Handling Preparation Plant. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all CHPP activities, providing leadership to operational teams, and aligning performance with site production targets, safety standards, and environmental obligations.
Key Responsibilities include
* Supervise safe and efficient CHPP operations in line with site safety, environmental, and production standards
* Lead and mentor operational teams, ensuring compliance with SHMS and EMS requirements
* Oversee plant maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance teams
* Conduct inspections, incident investigations, and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure accurate reporting, logbooks, and system entries (e.g., Pulse, CITECT SCADA)
* Drive team training, competency assessments, and performance development
* Foster strong communication across teams, contractors, and stakeholders
About You
* 5 years' supervisory experience of personnel within a Coal Handling environment
* Relevant trade or technical qualifications in mining, processing, or engineering
* Ability to operate stockpile dozer (CAT D10/D11)
* Strong knowledge of SHMS, EMS, and mining safety regulations
* Skilled in plant operations and control systems (e.g., CITECT SCADA)
* Effective leader with a focus on safety, team development, and continuous improvement
