Social Connections, Inclusive Living Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer for a casual work from home position 15 – 25 hours per week.
SCILL is a not-for-profit disability support provider based on the Sunshine Coast and provides support services to NDIS and NIISQ funded participant from Gympie to Brisbane.
About the Role:
In this diverse role, you'll take ownership of day-to-day accounts and payroll functions, playing a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the business. You'll be work in a small team (all home based).
Key Responsibilities:
· End-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly)
· Ensure accurate personnel and payroll details are maintained.
· Accounts payable and receivable duties
· Bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
· Debtor Collection of Overdue Accounts
· Profit and loss
· Processing payments via ABA file and bank transfer
· Process invoices via the relevant portals, plan managers, self-managed participants.
· Managing superannuation, PAYG, Q-Leave. Salary Packaging and other payroll liabilities
· Respond to payroll queries.
· General administrative and accounting support
What We're Looking For:
· Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounts/payroll role
· Experience with Xero is essential
· Experience with Flowlogic (desirable)
· Prior experience in dealing with the NDIS & NIISQ (desirable)
· Solid understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and compliance
· Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
