**Role responsibilities**:
Immerse yourself fully in the Marketing landscape by bringing communications excellence and creative support to the marketing team. This includes:
Content & copywriting
- Develop and execute a content strategy across the businesses
- Planning, developing and delivering site and collateral content
- Multi-media content capability including copywriting, video, podcasts etc
- Creation of engaging content that drives action
- Editing, proofing and improving blogs, social media posts, edm and other copy written by others
- Managing content distribution to increase web traffic
PR and media relations
- Media liaison
- Preparing and delivering media pitches, across print and digital media
- Build/maintain strong relationships with key editors and journalists
- Producing advertorial for editorial placements as part of advertising schedule
- Pitch profiles of key executives in thought leadership roles (speaking opps, interviews, etc.)
Internal communications
- Oversee development of content to excite and engage staff
- Partner with People & Culture team to support the communication of business priorities and provide counsel/feedback as needed
Advertising and media planning
- Manage annual media buy for advertising placements in industry print and digital publications
- Work closely with Marketing Manager to develop suitable ad campaigns and Graphic Designer to produce. This may include external agency engagement
- Place advertising assets as appropriate
**Experience**:
- Media or communications professional with experience working in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. Ability to develop and execute a content strategy aligned with team, departmental and organisational goals. Organisational and planning experience that contribute to effective and efficient project execution.
- Experience in financial services advantageous. Experience managing external agency and stakeholder relationships. Media production skills would be an advantage.
