Overview
Sublime Care is seeking an additional Speech Therapist to add to our Team of 4 as part of our larger multi-disc cohort based in Newcastle NSW.
As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing essential speech and language services to our diverse client base. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a rewarding and supportive environment, contributing to the overall wellbeing of the individuals and communities we serve.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address a range of speech and language difficulties
- Delivering evidence-based therapy sessions to clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care
- Providing education and support to clients, families, and caregivers
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client records, and contributing to the ongoing development of our speech therapy services
What we're looking for
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or Speech Therapy
- Eligibility for registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Therapist within the NDIS, preferably in a clinical or community-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing career development
- A positive, empathetic, and compassionate approach to care
