Lead critical OT support operations across a complex, high-availability environment.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operational Technology Support to lead and optimise ADG's OT systems and support functions. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role ensures the stability, integrity, and performance of our operational technology environments—including airport technologies, energy systems, network infrastructure, parking solutions and hotel systems.
This is a key leadership position responsible for incident management, OT service delivery, vendor performance, and maintaining secure and resilient operational technology across the organisation.
About the Role
As the Head of OT Support, you will be the primary technology partner to stakeholders for all operational technology support activities. You'll lead a high-performing team responsible for system performance, capacity planning, incident triage, vendor engagement, monitoring, and ITIL process execution.
You will also drive OT system improvements, manage high-priority incidents, contribute to formal governance processes such as the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Architecture Review Board (ARB), and collaborate closely with IT Security to ensure robust access controls and cybersecurity practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead OT support for systems used to monitor, manage, and control physical processes across airports, energy, infrastructure, parking, and hotel environments.
* Oversee incident triage, Level 2+ OT/IT vendor engagement, and vendor service delivery performance.
* Maintain system stability, performance, capacity planning, and data integrity.
* Manage OT/IT vendor relationships, monitor SLAs, and recommend remediation options for underperformance.
* Drive team performance to meet KPIs and service expectations.
* Own and deliver high-priority OT incident management.
* Lead ITIL processes across OT systems, including incident, problem, change, event, and release management.
* Jointly lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review and approve system changes.
* Support architectural governance with IT Architecture and the ARB.
* Oversee comprehensive OT monitoring across applications, databases, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and networks.
* Work with IT Security to enforce access controls and ensure secure OT environments.
* Apply ADG Risk Management Framework and promote a proactive safety culture.
* Ensure OT support budget usage aligns with approved financial plans.
About You
You are a confident technology leader with strong experience in operational technology environments, critical infrastructure, or similar high-availability sectors. You thrive in complex systems, lead teams effectively, and deliver consistent operational performance.
Essential Criteria:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications (or equivalent).
* ITIL certified practitioner with hands-on ITIL implementation experience.
* Experience implementing ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM processes.
* Strong understanding of OT infrastructure, networks, hardware, and software systems.
* 7+ years in IT/OT support, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience leading complex OT support functions.
* Strong commercial and operational vendor management experience.
* Knowledge of security best practices and data protection standards.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, customer engagement, and outcomes delivery.
* Experience in airports or critical infrastructure is highly advantageous.
