Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader- Tall Tree Early Learning Landsdale
Compensation: $40.31–$47.71 (based on experience and qualification)
Full-Time | Permanent Monday to Friday | Full availability between 6:30am–6:00pm
About the Role
Tall Tree Early Learning Landsdale is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on mentoring educators, designing meaningful learning programs, and building strong relationships with children and families.
Our Landsdale centre is one of Tall Tree's Nature Schools, housed within the beautifully restored former Landsdale mansion. With its homelike charm, natural spaces, and focus on exploration and curiosity, it offers an environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to become resilient, confident learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, play-based learning programs aligned with children's developmental needs and interests.
* Build warm, respectful relationships with children that nurture their sense of belonging, confidence, and well-being.
* Partner with families to strengthen each child's learning journey through open and ongoing communication.
* Document children's learning through observations, learning stories, and individual portfolios.
* Maintain an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment that supports exploration and discovery.
* Collaborate with the Centre Director and leadership team to uphold best practice aligned with the NQS, EYLF, and Tall Tree's philosophy.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including child protection and WHS guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years experience
* Experience in leadership, mentoring, or an Educational Leader role
* Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current early childhood pedagogies
* Excellent planning, communication, and documentation skills
* A collaborative, professional, and team-focused mindset
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
* A valid Working With Children Check
