Key Role in Indigenous Business Engagement
The Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to support the implementation of its small, medium, and Indigenous business procurement and supplier participation program.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of procurement and contract management principles, with experience in procurement or supplier engagement functions within infrastructure projects. They must possess excellent communication skills, able to build and sustain respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
The successful Senior Advisor will lead the design, implementation, and review of our subcontractor and supplier engagement frameworks. They will provide specialist advice to project and procurement teams, manage supplier participation data, and represent the organization at regional and industry forums.
* Drive engagement, development, and performance of small, medium, family, and First Nations businesses within the infrastructure supply chain.
* Support the implementation of strategic partnerships with Indigenous suppliers.
* Collaborate with project and procurement teams to develop effective procurement strategies.
