What is the role?
Ideal for candidates looking to make the move from an Accountant to commercial finance.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst focusing on Marketing and Operations, you'll play a key role in cost efficiency, process improvement and return on investment across the largest spend items of the business.
You'll help to identify cost optimization opportunities and profit improvement initiatives for a fast growth, flat structured business. With direct access to senior leaders, this is a high‐impact, hands‐on role for an ambitious individual to drive change based on data insights.
What are the responsibilities?
* Support month‐end with a strong understanding of financial impacts for marketing and logistics spends
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with internal policies
* Provide variance analysis and cost center reporting to support informed decision‐making across the business
* Occasional support to help guide Accounts Payable on PO and invoice processing
Cost Leadership & Efficiency Delivery
* Identify and deliver cross‐functional initiatives to deliver efficiency gains.
* Partner with business leaders to identify cost levers, set targets, and track realized savings.
* Challenge the status quo by highlighting process inefficiencies, margin leakages, and structural cost opportunities.
* Build and maintain a clear savings tracker, with Finance‐validated metrics and ownership accountability.
* Conduct ROI analysis on key priority campaigns, promotions, and operational initiatives.
Planning & Forecasting
* Enhance management reporting, budgets, and rolling forecasts.
* Ensure assumptions are realistic and aligned with business strategy.
What requirements are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other Business/Economics‐related fields.
* High ownership mindset, able to thrive in a fast‐moving, entrepreneurial environment.
* Ability to influence business stakeholders, identify and driving cost reduction/process‐efficiency programs.
* Strong analytical and Excel skills, with ability to translate data into business actions.
Preferred
* Previous experience in Management Accounting, Commercial Finance, or FP&A roles.
* Experience with Oracle Fusion / EPM or similar ERP and Planning systems.
* Familiarity with Power BI and Data analytics tools.
* Prior experience in FMCG, consumer electronics, or retail industries.
