Job Title: Compliance Officer
The Compliance Officer role is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be appointed as an Inspector under the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act, with the primary objective of supporting employers and employees in South Australia's construction industry.
About the Role
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for conducting investigations into potential breaches of the Act, undertaking audits of employer records and processes, and assessing and processing employer registration applications. Additionally, the successful candidate will perform retrospective entitlement calculations and provide clear and accurate information to employers, employees, and stakeholders on obligations under the Act.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in governance, legislative compliance, or a related field. A current National Police Clearance is also required. Additionally, knowledge of compliance assessment processes, including documenting and investigating matters of a litigious nature, is highly desirable. Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel, is also essential.
