We are growing and on the hunt for a Business Services Manager to join our Accounting, Tax and Business Advisory team. This role offers a great opportunity to grow your career at Kearney Group. In this role, you can expect lots of client interaction and opportunity for input and influence.
We're casting our net wide and will consider all public practice professionals with demonstrated success leading a team of accountants and business advisors.
What you'll be doing.
1. Working closely with our clients - delivering taxation/business advisory advice to our SME clients and their households whilst creating long term relationships.
2. Working collaboratively with your team - leading people and managing processes that underpin our accounting, tax and business advisory services. Actively creating new business opportunities - tapping into your networks and bringing new clients to our practice, whilst also deepening existing client relationships.
3. Working with colleagues across the firm - ensuring truly integrated financial advice is being delivered to our clients.
4. Providing critical workflow support and regulatory functions - planning, managing and reviewing jobs across the team.
What we're looking for.
1. Proven ability to supervise and deliver exceptional client outcomes, on time, on budget and in a safe and sustainable way.
2. Excellent technical skills, exemplary taxation and legislative knowledge, and an "A" grade compliance record.
3. Demonstrated ability to plan, manage and report on team workflow, budgets and cash flow, WIP and job assessments, KPI performance and progress towards targets.
4. Excellent problem-solving, prioritisation, time and workflow management abilities.
5. A skilled managerial presence who will help us Pioneer in our Accounting, Tax & Business Advisory Division.
6. A 'people-person' with uncompromising professionalism, high EQ and the soft-skills required to successfully lead and influence others.
7. Excellent advisory, rapport-building and stakeholder-management skills; the ability to both form lasting client relationships and attract new, strategically-aligned business.
8. An inquisitive mind with a hunger to Pioneer and provide Next-Practice (not just Best Practice) advice.
9. I.T. savviness with experience using Xero and Xero Add-Ons. Prior experience in a G-Suite for Business environment is advantageous.

Do you have the tickets?
To be a Business Services Manager with our firm, you'll require:
1. Education – Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce of Finance; Master's Degree (advantageous)
2. Qualification – CA/CPA Qualified; Multi-disciplinary qualification e.g. CFP (advantageous).
3. Experience: 5+ years' in Public Practice with at least 2 years managing a direct team.
