We're currently searching for an experienced Senior Barista & Cafe Assistant to join our organisation in a temporary, part-time capacity up to and including 31 March 2027.

About The Opportunity
Join the dynamic team at Mildura Arts Centre, where your barista and hospitality skills will shine in the Vista Cafe Bar. We're looking for passionate individuals who excel in crafting high-quality coffee and providing exceptional customer service.
You will also prepare, serve and sell a variety of beverages and delicious food to a high standard, all while being part of a creative and welcoming space that celebrates both art and community. If you love coffee and hospitality, this is the perfect role for you to showcase your talents.
What You Will Bring
* Demonstrated skills and experience in the hospitality industry with a minimum of two years' experience in the hospitality industry.
* Exceptional barista skills including but not limited to specialty coffee, latte art, grinders, current trends etc.
* Barista and food preparation skills and experience.
* A strong customer service focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability in the use of Point-of-Sale systems, MS Office and other software applications.
* Basic knowledge of the local community within the Arts & Culture areas preferred.
* Hold current qualification/certificates in Food Safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Victoria
* Hold a current motor vehicle driver's licence.
* Hold a current satisfactory police check or willing to obtain one.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $35.7345 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
