POSITION STATUS: Short Term Contract 0.6FTE (Leave coverage from 2nd March th August 2026)
CLASSIFICATION: Depending on qualifications & experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current registration with the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Australia
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential
* Clinical knowledge and skills related to acute, medical/surgical services, community nursing
* Sound interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and continuous improvement
* Experience working independently
* Experience and confidence with Information Technology including use of mobile devices in the field
* Problem Solving Skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
* Demonstrated ability to provide an effective, high quality, nursing service
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across client, community and professional groups inclusive of skills to negotiate and manage conflicts which arise
* Demonstrated understanding of health and related issues for elderly people, people with disabilities, and their carers
* Current Drivers Licence
Desirable
* Membership of relevant professional body.
* Minimum two years' experience.
* Knowledge of and experience in quality improvement activities
