**Remuneration**: $106,142.00 - $125,241.00 per annum, excluding superannuation

**_ An exciting role for an experienced Data Analyst, looking to be a part of an organisation at the helm of redesigning and developing new reporting platforms._**

The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government's cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you'll be doing_**

The Reporting and Data Analyst produces datasets, analyses, charts and/or dashboards (reports) to support cancer research, and cancer-related health-system monitoring and performance reporting activities to inform decision making, and support achievement of NSW Cancer Plan objectives. They contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the Institutes' data assets, reports and reporting systems.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Demonstrated experience managing data, information and the production of charts, tables, and dashboards.
- The ability, a willingness, and an aptitude to learn new technologies.
- Understanding of software development best practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in public health, computer science, data science, statistics, information management or other relevant discipline.

**_ Pre-screening question_**

Please provide an example of a project that you led, where your analysis, charts, reports or dashboards were used to inform business decision making. Describe the key project phases and steps you undertook from project start to finish. In your answer include the following:

- A description of the project purpose and/or problem you were trying to solve.
- What steps did you take in this project
- What analysis did you do
- How you led and managed the project
- The project outcomes
- Key learnings - what went well and what areas could be improved
