This includes high-net-worth individuals and families, major donors, and PAFs.
Along with the Senior Philanthropy Manager, this role is responsible for developing and executing the Philanthropy Strategy to support the broader fundraising strategy and works across the business to build a robust pipeline of engaged and loyal major supporters.
Key Responsibilities: Together with the Senior Philanthropy Manager develop and deliver the strategic and operational Philanthropy plan to grow the supporter base and optimise revenue Develop and deliver a calendar of activities and events for the engagement, acquisition, and retention of major donors Work with the broader Fundraising Team to develop integrated supporter retention, upgrade and cross-sell opportunities Major Supporter Acquisition and Retention Identify and research new prospective major donors through various channels, including individual giving programs, events, and community events Responsible for managing and nurturing a portfolio of current and prospective major donors who donate as individuals, through their business or private foundation In line with the Stewardship Guidelines lead the development of engagement, cultivation, and stewardship plans Lead the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and upgrade of major gift prospects to secure financial support Create compelling proposals, donor presentations, and custom asks aligned with the prospect's interests Develop and lead the life-cycle journey of major donors, encompassing pipeline procedures Prepare donor profiles and meeting briefings for the Leadership Team and Board Members Develop positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Develop and deliver acquisition and retention strategies and manage the implementation of the supporter journey for specific campaigns Reporting and Analysis Develop and effectively manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring targets and KPIs are met Review, analyse, and report on campaigns, including the establishment of key metrics, dashboards, and recommendations Drive improvements to processes and procedures across the Philanthropy portfolio to optimise resources Other Contribute to developing a high-performing Fundraising Team to successfully achieve KPIs, strategic objectives, and ongoing team development Represent FightMND externally at key events Engage with the Board as required Role model FMND values and leadership principles Identify opportunities for innovation and growth and implement test-and-learn activities in consultation with the Fundraising Director Support other areas of the business during peak periods (i.e. Big Freeze) Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Fundraising or related field Demonstrated significant experience in relationship management and donor stewardship, including experience in asking for significant philanthropic gifts Demonstrated ability to build strong and enduring relationships with philanthropists, trusts, and individual stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proposal writing skills, and ability to confidently 'make the ask' Strong analytical skills with proven ability to make data-driven decisions, and previous budget management skills Technologically savvy and digitally literate, experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRMs Key Attributes: Alignment with FightMND values – Urgency, Integrity, Efficiency, Boldness and Collaboration Results-oriented with a proactive and strategic approach to revenue generation Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment Strong written and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with different stakeholders Display a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to be both hands-on and strategic Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate across the organisation Display a continuous improvement mindset Commitment to work outside standard office hours for key events Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Part-time Job function Other Industries Non-profit Organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
