In this dynamic role, you will manage and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of project activities within the division, including contributing to the delivery of strategic communications and proactively seeking opportunities to partner across the business and broader NSW Government specific to Aboriginal outcomes.

What you will bring to the role
* An understanding of Aboriginal cultural issues and extensive knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and review of Aboriginal cultural strategies, policies and procedures
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to develop project and communication plans and manage stakeholder relationships.
* Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
* Solid time management and organisational skills to prioritise work requests and sensitive matters, including for Cultural advice to meet concurrent programs of work.
* Strong problem-solving abilities to manage significant change management issues and to resolve sensitive and complex problems.
* Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and trust with key Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and NSW entities.
What is an essential requirement:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
* Knowledge, respect and understanding of Aboriginal cultural issues and extensive knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and review of Aboriginal cultural strategies, policies and procedures.
