Supply Officer
Sunnybank Private Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer-focused Supply Officer to join their busy team.
This role involves assisting with hospital supply management, focusing on operating theatres, wards, and other areas within the hospital. The Supply Officer will handle supply & imprest queries and perform general duties in our logistics area.
This is a hands-on position requiring a high level of physical work. To be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate effectively, promote a positive team culture, and liaise with staff to create a supportive environment.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital imprest areas
* Acting as a valued team member by promoting a positive team culture, communicating effectively, and liaising with staff
* Working according to Healthscope's policies, processes, and code of conduct
* Maintaining customer service standards while ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy
* Supporting safety, quality improvement, and accreditation efforts
* Ensuring compliance with the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards
* Experience with a computerized purchasing system
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Proven time management and problem-solving abilities
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Previous experience in a similar role
