Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Technical Expert with deep expertise in both Human Capital Management (HCM) and Finance modules. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and support for the configuration, integration, and optimization of Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM and Finance modules.
• Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, and calculated fields.
• Lead integration development using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Support Workday Finance areas including Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, and Projects.
• Develop and maintain custom reports using Workday Report Writer and Workday Prism Analytics.
• Collaborate with functional teams to identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and provide ongoing user support and training.
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security in all Workday processes.
• Stay current with Workday releases and industry trends, and assess impacts on existing functionality.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience with both HCM and Finance modules.
• Expertise in Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services).
• Strong understanding of Workday's object model, calculated fields, security, and business processes.
• Experience with Workday Financials including core financials, procurement, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Workday certification in HCM, Finance, or Integration (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with other ERP systems or middleware platforms.
