The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) plays a pivotal role in our executive leadership team. We are seeking an experienced leader to develop and execute our commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of global leadership experience, a proven track record in selling services to the biotech sector worldwide, and the ability to enhance our visibility through strategic business development initiatives.

We are a Contract Research Organisation that offers specialised services supporting drug development for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Our history dates back to the 1980s, and we have a rich background in this area.

Main Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough global market analysis to identify growth opportunities and gaps in existing markets.
">
* Develop and execute regional and strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
">
* Resource and support market entry strategies for new geographic regions or niches within the CRO sector to support service delivery to biotechs.
">
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute market expansion initiatives, including market research, marketing and sales strategies, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
">
* Lead the global business development team in identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients and projects.
">
* Utilize industry knowledge and existing networks to identify and pursue business opportunities within the biotech sector.
">
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
">
* Foster a culture of proactive client engagement, responsiveness, and excellence in client relationship management.
">
* Build a high-performing commercial team by developing and retaining top talent.
">
* Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts that are mutually beneficial.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a proven global leadership experience in a commercial role within the CRO, clinical research, biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on APAC and the US.

">

Demonstrated success in selling services to biotech clients, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and challenges.

">

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

">

A strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovative solutions.

">

Strong network and relationships within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

">

Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.

">

Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
