 
        
        **Job Description**: 
In this role, you will provide leadership of technical CQV operations and be responsible for the operational activities of the group with regard to HR activities, Performance Development, and overall custody and care of assigned employees. You will also coordinate with the Regional Manager/Regional Director for staffing activities, including recruiting, retention, and development of department staff. Additionally, you will lead and manage projects and accounts as assigned by compliance management. 
**Position Responsibilities** 
- Ensures the quality, accuracy, and completeness of overall work as to CQV Department, compliance with established IPS and client standards, procedures, codes, and ordinances. 
- Coordinates and contributes technical input and oversees technical output of employees and projects to assure compliance with IPS and project requirements. 
- Coordinates and administers Employee Performance Development and Review program for group members. 
- Assists and assures implementation of standards and tools to ensure department output meets or exceeds established quality and performance expectations. 
- Oversees manpower planning of unit resources and administers technical staff to assure efficient assignment of resources on multiple, concurrent projects. 
- Supports recruiting, team retention, and develops staffing plans to meet forecast labor and skills required to meet project and/or account-specific goals. 
- Supervises CQV specialists and engineers and ensures that all employees within the group are properly managed and trained. 
- Instills a positive work workplace and facilitates effective staff development efforts. 
- Communicates staffing levels regularly with all levels of management at IPS. 
- Prepares proposals for service and supports preparation of proposals as directed by Compliance management. 
- Supports business development with presentations and related marketing activities. 
- Primary BD activities are focused on client satisfaction and repeat business for assigned accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements: 
- 5+ years of industry experience, at least 3 of which have been in a supervisory or management capacity for CQV or related industry projects. 
- Progressive ability, capacity, and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work and to obtain cooperation from others. 
- Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, superior communication skills, team building, and strong work ethic. 
**Preferred Qualifications** 
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 
**Context, Environment, & Safety** 
- Travel based on the project & project location. 
This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.
