Job Title: Health Manager
This is a mid-senior level role within the health care sector.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead and manage systems and processes for Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) claims management. This includes regular review of claims submitted by the VMO workforce and policy/procedure framework and systems that support the claims submitted by the VMO workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and coordinate the Evo Vendor Management System (VMS) in Sydney Local Health District, working closely with hospitals, facilities, and services.
* Meet requirements of the agreed roll out of the Evo VMS and supported initiatives to improve medical locum recruitment and agency management and performance for relevant services.
* Support effective delivery of an efficient VMO and medical agency locum workforce to meet patient needs, complying with relevant legislation, NSW Health policy, and district guidelines.
A high level of analytical/technical data and computer application skills are required, including the ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data, present complex information in a meaningful way, identify trends and issues, and report risks to enable responsive service management.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in leading change management, process improvement initiatives, and/or projects in complex health care settings.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in medical workforce management and governance, preferably in relation to VMO claims management processes.
