**About Chermside Day Hospital**
Chermside Day Hospital features specialised, purpose-built facilities, high quality equipment, and is self-sufficient. Facilities include state-of-the-art operating theatres and procedure rooms, a spacious Post Anaesthesia Care (Recovery) Unit, comfortable Second Stage recovery room and well-appointed consulting suites. The hospital also features a self-contained sterilizing department and endoscope processing service.
We are looking for a confident, decisive, experienced full-time Administration Manager.
The successful applicant will be required to lead and manage a small team of Administration staff and ensure administrative functions run efficiently. In addition, your customer service skills will be exceptional.
**The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas**:
- Experience in leading and managing a team essential
- Previous experience working in a hospital and/or health care setting preferrable.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and sound knowledge of IT systems
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- The ability to take initiative, work independently and efficiently
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional front line customer service skills with a patient focus
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality within the healthcare environment
**Key duties include**:
- Generate and implement the administration staff roster
- Co-ordinate and delegate daily administrative tasks to ensure completion of tasks within required timelines
- Generate and report data from the patient management system.
- Maintain and update administrative workflow methods
- Maintain office Quality Management System
- Assist CEO /DoN and Finance Manager with Quality Management System tasks
- Organise and attend meetings
- Maintain office filing systems and ensure confidentiality of medical records
