What you'll do
The Project Delivery Specialist is accountable for the end‐to‐end delivery of strategic projects that drive operational efficiency across supply chain and replenishment functions. Serving as the primary interface between IT, Supply Chain, and Replenishment teams, the role translates business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through to benefits realisation. The position drives transformational, data‐driven change to deliver measurable improvements in cost reduction, product availability, and customer service levels across the network.
1. Project Delivery & Management
Leading end‐to‐end delivery of supply chain and replenishment projects, from business case through to implementation and benefits realisation. This includes managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, steering committees, and third‐party vendors.
2. Supply Chain & Replenishment Optimisation
Identifying and driving initiatives to reduce costs and improve product availability. This involves process redesign, automation, and partnering with IT to evaluate and implement planning tools, analytics platforms, and forecasting capabilities.
3. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Ownership
Managing the onboarding of new suppliers into the EDI framework (covering purchase orders, ASNs, invoices, and SSCC labels), overseeing the EDI provider relationship, and managing escalations with IT and suppliers.
4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Building business cases, project plans, process maps, and dashboards; tracking cost savings and benefits realisation; and contributing to a broader continuous improvement culture.
What you'll bring
* Proven experience in project delivery within Retail, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG Supply Chain environments
* Demonstrated experience leading supply chain optimisation or technology implementation projects
* Strong understanding of supply chain and replenishment processes including demand forecasting, inventory management, and order fulfilment
* Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools
* Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
* Experience facilitating requirements gathering, process design workshops, and user acceptance testing
* Technical aptitude with ability to understand system capabilities and translate business needs into technical requirements
* Proven ability to drive adoption of new processes and technologies through effective change management
* Strong understanding of end‐to‐end supply chain processes and industry best practices
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related discipline
* Project Management certification highly regarded
* Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a plus
