Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Your primary responsibility will be to perform planned preventative maintenance on all equipment within the site. This will involve carrying out routine checks and repairs to ensure that our equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
In addition to planned maintenance, you will also be responsible for responding quickly to breakdowns and identifying root causes to prevent future issues. You will work closely with affected teams to communicate clearly and resolve problems efficiently.
You will also support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through your line manager. Your goal will be to provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
The ideal candidate will have a formal trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with experience in planned preventative maintenance systems. You will also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Formal Trade Qualification: Served a full Apprenticeship in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualified to a minimum of Certificate 3.
- Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner). Alternatively, equivalent trade qualification formally recognised in Australia.
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical
- and mechanical drawings.
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
- Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience of computer maintenance systems (CMMS).
- Experience of sortation machines.
- Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
