About the role
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly driven and ambitious New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team at one of our North East Motor Group franchises.
Our people are integral to our combined success, and we seek exceptional people who are both passionate and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a history of success in:
* Vehicle Sales – Proven track record
* Delivering to sales targets
* Customer Satisfaction
* A background in customer facing roles, e.g. hospitality, retail etc.
* Proven ability to listen and understand customers' needs
* Previous demonstrable experience in customer facing roles is advantageous for those without previous vehicle sales experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Gain business from new and existing customers
* Ensure that you provide exceptional end to end customer service
* Maintain a high level of knowledge about vehicles and products you represent
* Understand the customers objectives, buying criteria and decision‑making processes
* Form long‑term business partnerships to leverage future transactions / purchases
* Identify and exceed our customer's needs, with in‑depth advice and service
* Facilitate vehicle purchase experience for new and existing customers
Requirements

* Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience
* A solution‑focused mindset
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbally)
* Ability to relate to people and their needs
* Ability to be analytical, think laterally and problem‑solve
* Can communicate at all levels within the organisation and with third parties
* Ability to contribute to a positive team environment, with a culture of openness, innovation and learning
* Current Driver's Licence
* Pentana – Dealer Management System experience will be highly regarded but not essential as training will be provided
