**A Day in the Life**:
In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Obesity and Metabolic Health portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Areas. This will be an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned**:
- Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including procurement and healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
- Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conducts market research including customers and competitor activities.
- Promotes 'win as a team' mentality and supports colleagues and synergistic portfolios where possible.
- Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
**Required Knowledge and Experience**:
- A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline is essential
- Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices
- Strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
- Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff
- Self-motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results
